Well, its been a crazy week, and i'm glad yet sad that its over.
Though the hours were long, I feel that all the efforts worth it! Muahaha we weren't perfect and messed up ALOT, but I don't think ppl noticed much =P and anw they seemed to really love our performance.
According to haoguang, it was rather unproffessional and felt like a variaty show to him (my words eXactly) but my parents + sis said it was really interesting and wasn't boring at all. Though some actions were unnecessary and quite gimmicky, it was quite alright to the audience. A -big- sigh of relief on that one.
As for the wasted 3-D globe we had spent $80 on which pohyee kindly destroyed for us,, guess it didn't really matter so I'll forgive him.
Mmhmm and clem & collin were great MC's, with kudo's to clem for being the "better" MC (according to sis) but collin being the "better looking" MC (according to sis again). Lol she said collin spoke too fast and they couldn't hear what he was saying half the time, whereas clem was clear BUT sometimes pronounced words WEIRD (think cinderella) But well good job to them both, seriously I don't think I would have done a better job. And besides it really isn't easy to speak in front of so many people without having ur confidence shaking at least a little bit.
Brian for being a sport while we the "riser gang" poked him while he was changing backstage with us. Muahaha... Oh and the audience apparently heard us setting up the risers and the piano 'cos we were REALLY loud (so says sister) Well, too bad for them!
Ivan for conducting us in chitty-chitty-bang-bang and for having the guts to warble~ off that high note in front of so many people. I wouldn't have dared to >.< and yeah for the indian thingy shirt which really didn't turn out that bad in the end.
Poseur for spraying my hair with hair-spray and for his sick looking gatsby gel.
Chris for geting us the bandanas and for choreographing the movin' out moves.
Mrs. Wan for being a great teacher who always pulls us together and thru stuff even though we're such a crappy/slack/idiotic bunch, and for being a really great n' tolerant teachr.
Mr. Tan for his screams of delight from the crowd during his solo (though I really don't know why...is he that good?)
Mrs. Siva for showing me that she wasn't a b*tch at all (which i thought so before) but actually a really cool and funky teacher haha! She's really cool with alot of stuff and willing to stay back with us to do up props since Mrs. Wan's always busy. Go Siva!
ermm...and my parents who came and my sis who's really quite nice to me. Yeah...and Clem's sister who came also, Jerome's parents who ALSO came, and Hendra's, and aiyah the audience la. Mingyi + justin + Poon turned up O_o I was rather surprised.
Oh and i'm currently ponning sch, cos i was so sleepy last night that by the time i got all that gel off my hair, it was wayyy past midnight and and i was already dead-beat. So i plopped down on my bed and promptly slept till 1030 this morning. Which is why I'm here typing this.
Mmmk its buh-bye fun hello to mugging now. Cya all arnd.
And you know what? I'll really really really miss choir when I'm gone >.<
