whoopee in China again, this time in GuangZhou. I now officially have 2 PRC cousins xD One boy one girl 12/14 respectively. My uncle married a chinawomen wo0t. She's quite pretty, and she's really down to earth, adores my uncle, and appreciates the fact that housework is much more relaxed than farming. My uncle was her superior in his earlier job, and she only earned 1000 RMB per month O_o So he decides to marry her, and send 1000 RMB back to her home each month since he earns an imba amount due to being an EXPAT. G_G uncle winz.
She had 2 kids already, and she brought them along soon after they started living together, and their really good kids, albeit a lil' quiet. But still overall normal normal children, and they love their new dad so there isn't anything to worry about at all. Congrats Uncle Henry! Good luck ^_^
China's real cool, real real cool. We just ate this imba seafood dinner where there were like 7 different types of snakes in cages, around 5 different turtles in cages, many many many types and many many many amounts of seafood. From differnet types of live clams, mussels, prawns, sea cucumber, leeches, snails and mollusks (all live), to water snakes, tree snakes, this black skinny thin long snake, turtles in all shapes sizes colours, MANY MANY F33sh, and to top it off there were even crocks in cages.
Pretty darn cool, we just went downstairs to the place and just chose whatever we wanted, then they would cook it and send it upstairs where we sat. Completely owned, had like 5 seafood dishes a soup and veggies, and it only cost us 240 RMB. OMG thats not even 50 bucks SGD. G_______________G
This hotel's really clean and nice too, even has internet access. Price? 250 a night. Thats right, its 50 SGD again! <3 China. And btw people, GuangZhou is already considered one of the most "expensive & downtown" areas. The number of people who trawl the "orchard" of GuangZhou easily rival hongkong, and hongkong is pretty damn crowded. So u can kinda get the picture of how advanced the populated city areas of China is, and at this price, its simply AMAZING.
At first I still had doubts about China after being in ZhuHai, which was already very developed, with roads traffic lights etc. all infrastructure down, but it was kinda quiet which to me sort-of made is cheap? Hotel rooms were priced even lower, with a 4-star hotel going at 160 RMB. 32 SGD yo. Unbelievable no? But well it wasnt that amazing then since I was easily bored there, since it was mainly an industrial area...
But down in GUANGZHOU, the CITY of CITIES (in my opinion) where the food's fab, clothes cheap, accessories everywhere... Man no wonder China's going to rule the world for the next few decades of so. Its like everywhere around me its a commercial hub like s'pore and hk, with ALOT of people situated here, with the prices like a fifth that of S'pore? Singapore is simply no challenge for something like this, at this large a scale. So wise up, my friends, and GO TO CHINA where the money awaits with open arms. I'm almost definately going to China after I graduate in HK, and with my dad's connections I'll hopefully do okay over there.
Harsh, but I honestly think Singapore's going to die out in the next decade. Its completely lost its lustre already, and with a "glowing pearl" (forgive the eXtreme CHEESINESS) like China right next to it, with opportunities everywhere and jobs abundant, many areas undeveloped and businesses just BOOMING and shooting up everywhere...Forget American, forget Austrailia, forget Canada, forget the Ang Mors...its time for the CHINAMAN to rise up and rule t3h world for a good century or so.
Make friends with the PRC scholars, cos they'll be important assets in the years to come.

Stick to ur "no chinese" slogan. Stick to Singapore's ideals and dreams of living in America, Austrailia, and all those caucasian countries.

(Muahaha that felt good. But sadly its true. As much as I myself "hate" chinese, there's no denying that China's the key.)
