Johari craze impacts us more than tsunami. Why does doing something largely inaccurate, which probably doesnt reflect our character to others at all, still cause s us to wet our pants begging people to contribute? Guess we all do care alot about other's perceptions..
On a side note, after being dragged to outside acsi staffroom by shiv on thursday, and subsequently having a most "pleasent" meeting with loo, I've discovered the wondrous SMELLS of ramly burger.
So sue me. I didnt eat it during funorama. Well its difficult to dissect which smell's coming from which stall when you're in as crowded a place as funorama. Besides, I ate loads of other junk as well.
Anyway, there was this big queue of people lining up outside the staffroom, hankering to buy the ramly burgers which are being sold by these few women. Its apparently a "staff-welfere" program, but honestly it smelt so good that I was tempted to purchase one (even after having a bowl of sang-mee), hence the huge line of anxious sec1-4 students checking their watches etc. The four women cooking the ramly burgers were looking extremely harassed, and there were also teachers abusing their authority (to many cries of dismay from the general pop.) to cut queue and get burgers first.
Ahaha hilarious. But this has prompted me to do a little testing of my own. Got home after purchasing ACJ uniform earlier just now (I only need the shirt muahaha), and made a home-made ramly burger. Surprisingly, it turned out quite well. Simple stuff, with a slab of luncheon meat masquerading as the patty, and some shredded cabbage/onions, a piece of cheese, one tissue-prata-ish-egg (to wrap everything with), and to top it off, some chilli & mayo.
Mmm...It was oily, yes, but most SATISFYING. Raaagh suffice to say i used toasted bread + magerine instead of burger buns, but it was still highly l33t. Try it! U can look up the instructions on wikipedia =P
