Well somehow all the scholars found out that Venice was going to come out, and suffice to say they all mugged it to death. How eXtreme...So basically they owned hte Structured-Essay bit but got ownt (as all scholars are) by the Source-based. Lol I found the SBQ quite alright, but couldn't conclude part b of my SEQ T_T Quite saddening considering how I actually knew the points but didn't have time to finish. Oh well...
2mrws teacher's day! Huzzah and may our teachers have a wonderful day and recieve lots of prezzies! Personally I think I'll give cards to some of my better teachers (I love being preferential) and thus hope to see Loo's devastated look when I give another teacher a card in front of her, only to approach her and feign carefreeness, going "Oh hi lao-shi! Lao shi jie kuai le!" and walk away with a smile. *gloats* *evil laughter* *smirk*
And gonna play bball with Jerome at the CC tomorrow after celebrations, shall attempt to ask some people to come along. Mmhmm think i've deproved to nothing already. Oh well we'll see...
And most interestingly, my mother actually asked me where I wanted to go. As in which school I was aiming for. I ended up making a bunch of excuses of how I have no idea and that I only want to focus on whats ahead and do the best I can for my prelims. And blah.
But honestly?
I don't know...argh...!And I've been reading up on celtic culture recently. Its really really interesting as compared to the ancient chinese/mayans/babylonese/egyptians and all those overlydonetodeath cultures. But celts are so...intriguing, partially because they're permanently shrouded in mystery, with the last few gaulish texts being of small significance and not of much historical value. Most sources seemingly originate from roman texts and especially Julius Ceasers own personal records of when he had invaded the Gaulish regions. And apparently Gaulish priests, the druids were against the idea of recording down religious happenings, and should only be passed down through word of mouth. Sadly, this caused the whole gaulish religion and shamanistic culture to vanish once the race was killed off and mostly enslaved. Without being allowed to continue practicing their culture, their descendants would have no idea of how their ancestors had lived. And since its happened too long ago, there is no living source of information either =P well maybe they'll find a 2000-year old man sitting in a cave somewhere cos the Gallic War happened during 52–51 BC O_o Thats a pretty damn long time ago...
