Just came back from Vivocity. Gosh super super crowded. Okay I need to make a shoutout to ROSEMARY who completely completely saved my ass today. I was wandering around aimlessly at the spankingly huge vivocity trying to find my friends. (for the uninformed, I've recently lost my cell) Then as I was wallowing in the depths of despair, rose suddenly appeared out of the blue and slapped me on my shoulder with a cheery "Hi Bong!"

Rose, foxy and another friend (sry i forgot who *_*) proceeded to endure my spasticness of trying to recall tim's hp number, which i suddenly couldnt recall accurately and had to randomly dial different combinations of digits until I finally got him (in the process apologising profusely to some women whom I accidentally called twice) AND even more spazzo, I somehow couldnt freaking hear what tim was saying and had to get rose to ask him for me. I feel so useless >.<
they were buying sweets at candy empire. omg six guys buying chocolates and stuff. I feel ashamed for them =PAnd then we ended up at Long John Silver's eating and crapping, and discovering sam's skills in chope-ing a place for me in the movie without paying for my ticket first.
There were six of them, and so instead of buying:
X X X X X X <- aisle seat
they went and shifted the whole thing to the left by a seat:
X X X X X X O <- empty aisle seat singled out
what extreme skills lol. Cos I wasnt able to confirm with them whether I was gonna watch the movie earlier on, so they did a bastage move and choped a seat since no one would buy a single seat just like that. Hilarious. Kudos to Sam for such high levels of int xD
The Departed was good. Thrilling, and the pace of the movie was just nice, tied together with a strong plot and acting (although I cant say much about the plot, since it was decidedly ripped from internal affairs >.<) Good acting overall, but at times too much gore (typical amerikkan) and a macho ending (typical amerikkan) where the bad guy just HAS to die in the end (typical amerikkan) and the good guy wins (typical amerikkan) So yeah, if you dont like the overdosage of testosterone, men growling instead of speaking, and lots of blood & gore, skip it and watch the asian version instead, which is just as good (if not better) Its definitely value for money though, since we stepped into the theatre at 1150 and only came out at 250. Its like a whole 160+ minutes of runtime O_o
And amazingly I got into the theatre without being stopped (stop rubbing it in, you asses..) Theatre One is apparently the biggest theatre or sth along those lines, and it was pretty impressive. Lousy chairs though, they aren't comfy at all =X and I was freezing the whole way even though it was rather packed.
Then I jacked tim shiv and shihan by jumping "boat" lol. We cabbed back together since nightrider wasnt available at the harbourfront bus stop, and i got the driver to drop me off at newton first. Lawl I just got off the cab, closed the door and ran away amused, effectively evading the cab fee =D
Damn I'm good.
And thanks germ for letting me be a nuisance today.
